BLU BOY DESIGN MOCKUPS

The objective of this project was to closely align with independent design brands, and Blu Boy's distinctive style and brand identity were particularly refreshing and enjoyable to work with. Studying their brand identity and bringing it to life in 3D was a gratifying experience. The primary focus was on adhering precisely to the measurements of the bag and developing a series of advertisements that harmonize seamlessly with the brand, effectively showcasing the product for potential sales.

A smaller detail in the process was the paint palette. In Blu Boy’s original poster design, they included a color palette element, and I took the liberty of reimagining it as a watercolor paint pod. This was such a fun detail to work on—it gave me the chance to further explore shading, texture, and how small elements can add personality and depth to the overall piece.

HERES MY comprehensive process sheet using Milanote to document the entire workflow. Starting with initial thoughts, INCLUDING referenced photos from Instagram to gather inspiration. The subsequent steps involved creating assets for the bag, including texture design. I also set up XGen for the bag's fuzz effect. In the final phase, INCLUDE generated mockups for the background of the advertisement. The process sheet served as a visual guide, capturing each stage of the creative journey.
